Custom runners from our friends at The Original Runner Company just never seem to get old to us...I mean we use them for every single wedding we can, when budgets allow!

Recently Giovanna had the pleasure of speaking with the editors for the new Star Ledger Magazine. New Jersey View, which reaches an impressive 60,000 NJ residents! GG was asked to discuss planning a wedding on a tight budget, in this tough economy. GG will be featured in the magazine which is on newsstands now, the story is featured online as well.

My best friends shower!

I love what I do, and I love creating events and making people happy during important milestones of their lives. But nothing, NOTHING gives me greater pleasure than throwing a party for one of my loved ones! I had the honor of creating a fun baby shower for one of my best friends since high school, Alison. With the help of her sisters and some of her close friends we had a fun girly luncheon today at her beautiful house in Franklin Lakes. Thank you to Carolyn from Bella Dia Custom Invitations for the great invitations and fun little items for the shower, to Melina from Sweet as a Cupcake for the DELICIOUS and beautiful cupcakes, Kristen from Edible Essentials for the adorable cookie favors and Helen from Cloth Connection for the lovely linen rentals.

Congratulations to Alison, we just can not wait to meet the divine Ms. Angelina! xoxoxo

Great weekend for a wedding!

Amy had the pleasure of working a day of event with a fabulous couple Danyelle and Andrew. The weather was picture perfect as were the bride and groom! The reception was held at the stunning Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club and every guest spent the whole night on the dance floor thanks to the Jason Craig Band. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Stewart.

FABULOUS new venue partnership!

We are BEYOND excited to announce a new oh so fab relationship with the amazing BRAND SPANKING NEW hip, outrageous and soon to be go to venue in NY.....Studio Square! This enormous event space complete with views of NYC, outdoor space like you dream about and character like nothing you've ever seen before is opening it's doors next month and we've been invited to be a part of the in-house design team. We are so so so honored to be a part of this amazing and talented group of visionaries who really have created the perfect event space.
Today, some of the girls and I took a trip to Long Island City to meet with the Studio Square group and we are so happy to announce that we will be planning a launch party in June...all your favorite amazing vendors will be there strutting their stuff. Details to follow for SURE! We just can't wait to get started planning some events at this one of a kind space!
The space is still under construction as is their website, stay tuned for details!

Tonight was a great night! We were invited to attend the Brides.com cocktail event at the gorgeous New York Public Library. We loved seeing our friends from the Magazine, and also we got to mingle with some fabulous NYC wedding STAPLES like Sylvia Weinstock! We got to munch on amazing snacks from the one and only Sterling Affair, it was really a great night! Special thanks to Julie Raimondi, Editor of Bride's Local Magazines, and crew for an amazing night! Thank you for including us at this special and fun event!

Gorgeous in Green

Yet another fabulous sample from none other than the amazing Cindy Zack! Today we had a table top sample for an amazing September couple, Tiffany and Matt! This just took my breath away. Green and brown are my personal fave color combos, I used green for my own wedding 5 years ago!
The chocolate brown crinkled taffeta linen was amazing paired with the chartreuse green glass pebble charger and green tinted glasses from Party Rentals, ltd.

Cindy found this outrageous green mosaic Asian inspired vases, and topped it with a unique, chic and elegant white floral arrangement, and then finished it off with pedestal glass stands holding ivory pillars.

I just love this centerpiece I can't wait to see the room design!

Platinum Wedding's Air date moved AGAIN

OK we hope this is the LAST time they shift around the darn schedule. Right now it is slated for May 24th at 10pm. So we are crossing our fingers they don't move it again! It's not easy to keep moving my viewing party, come on now let's stick with a date already ;)

Lily in Wonderland

What kind of chance do my kids have at having a "low key" birthday party? Slim to none...I just can't help myself. I had to have fun with this as it will be my last First Birthday Bash for any of my children. Had fun with Charlie's Circus theme three years ago, so it was only fitting to have a Wonderland fit for a princess for my darling Lily Rose!
Special SPECIAL thanks to Cindy Zach who created all the incredible and whimsical flowers for the party, to the talented Stefanie Sancho from Cakes by Stef! for the simply amazing (and delicious) birthday cake. Thanks as always to Robin Kornett for the amazing invitations and all the super sweet day of items! Sari at Toppers With Glitz for the adorable blinged out #1 for the top her Lily's cake! And last but certainly not least, thank you to Jeff Vock for shooting these great images and taking time out of his busy schedule to come and capture the fun we had at the party!

It was great to see all my family and friends, and of course all my beautiful fabbies were there with their little ones in tow!

Outrageous new venue space in NJ!

WOW is all I can say! We were invited to attend a cocktail party to unveil the newly renovated Central Railroad NJ Train Station in Liberty State Park. This space is just incredible. Christy and I were literally walking around with our jaws on the floor the entire time. The possibilities for design in this space are ENDLESS! There is a gorgeous huge main room, with ceilings that go on forever. The entire space is surrounded by nothing but breathtaking views of the Hudson and the most picture perfect NYC Skyline view that you only see in the movies (or from NJ lol!)This is also a very special and Historical Venue, as it is one of the oldest Train Hubs on the East Coast. Recently renovated, this space is the perfect location for an event. You can use the gorgeous back area for cocktails, and have guests overlook the Hudson. We are just dying to get our hands on some weddings here!
